Feast on a Mexican High Tea at Bobby Dre’s

Treat mum to a high tea with a Mexican twist at one of Werribee’s hottest new dining destinations. Bobby’s Dre’s landed in Watton Street in March, bringing with them their authentic style tacos. The popular Taco and Burger High Tea options come with a choice of pink burgers, nachos, various flavoured tacos and rainbow churros. Alternatively, feast on the Bottomless Brunch which includes a four-course meal and bottomless drinks (over a 90-minute sitting).

Book in an all-day brunch or collect a High Tea Picnic Hamper from The Refectory Parlour

Celebrate Mother’s Day with an all-day brunch under the eaves of Werribee Mansion at The Refectory Parlour, a café / wine bar located in the west wing of the Mansion. Choose from one of the many delicious cake options from their decadent cake display or treat yourself to a homemade ice cream or an alcoholic popsicle. Perfect for the whole family. Werribee Open Range Zoo is offering a Mother’s Day lunch with a difference this year. Enjoy lunch at the Meerkat Bistro under the eyes of the curious meerkats before exploring the wider zoo and heading off on a safari across the African savannah. Lunch includes a glass of bubbles and a two-course meal. There will also be a photo booth to get an amusing picture together and fun activity for all the kids. Treat mum to a Mansion SocieTEA at Lancemore Mansion Hotel

Lancemore Mansion Hotel’s lavish high tea is back. Delivered in partnership with tea specialists T2, this decadent offering includes a mouth-watering spread of sweet and savoury delicacies overlooking the magnificent gardens of Werribee Park. Each (adult) guests will also receive a glass of Mumm Champagne. The good news is, if you can’t make it for Mother’s Day, the SocieTEA is available every Sunday, with sittings beginning every week at 12:30pm. Bookings are essential.

Step back into a bygone era at Werribee Park Mansion

Pick up a delicious picnic hamper from one of the many local eateries before hunting down the perfect picnic spot within the sprawling 10 hectares of manicured lawns and gardens of Werribee Park. After lunch, head inside the Werribee Mansion and step back into a bygone era. Completed by wealthy pastoralists, the Chirnside family in 1877 and built in the Italianate architecture style, it is a living, breathing postcard of the 19th century. Gourmet picnic hampers are available from The Refectory Parlour, Lancemore Mansion Hotel, Shadowfax Wines or Wyndham Cache.
