Terms and Conditions

1. This competition is run by Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) in the state of Victoria only. 
    
2. This competition is no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.  You agree to release and hold harmless Meta and Instagram from any liability incurred in connection with your participation in this competition.
    
3. By entering this competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions of entry.  If your entry does not comply with these terms and conditions, it will not be valid and will not be accepted.
    
4. Entry is restricted to Victorian residents aged 18 years and over. Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
    

5. To enter the competition, between 10:00am on 13 May 2026 and 10:00am on 18 May 2026 you must:

   a) follow the Visit Werribee and Surrounds Facebook page and ‘like’ the competition post; or
   
   b) follow the Visit Werribee and Surrounds Instagram page and ‘like’ the competition post.
    

6. Only one entry per person per social media platform will be accepted.
    

7. The competition winners will be drawn at 11:00am on 18 May 2026 by Council officers.  One winner from all entries via Facebook and three winners from all entries via Instagram will be drawn at random. The winner of the Facebook draw will win a General Admission Family Pass (2 adults and up to 3 children aged 15 years and under from the same family) to the Melbourne International Three Day Event that can be redeemed on Sunday 7 June 2026, valued at $97. The winners of the Instagram draw will each win a General Admission Double Pass to the Melbourne International Three Day Event that can be redeemed on Saturday 6 June 2026, Sunday 7 June 2026 or Monday 8 June 2026, valued at $90.  There will be four competition winners in total and the total prize pool is valued at $367. 
    

8. Winners will be contacted by Facebook or Instagram direct message (as applicable) by 5:00pm on 18 May 2026 and required to provide their email address for the purpose of emailing them their tickets.
    
9. If a winner cannot be contacted by 5:00pm on 22 May 2026, Council may opt to conduct a further draw to determine a new winner.
    
10. Prizes will be emailed to each winner’s email address as it is provided to Council.  Council accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen prizes.
     
11. Prizes not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
     
12. Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt entries.
     
13. If for any reason this competition cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
     
14. Council reserves the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice to you.
     
15. Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council to enable you to enter the Melbourne International Three Day Event Competition. By entering this competition, you agree that your personal information including name and contact details will be used in the administration of the competition as stated in the Visit Werribee and Surrounds Melbourne International Three Day Event Competition’s terms and conditions. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
