Competition Terms and Conditions
This competition is run by Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) in the state of Victoria, Australia only. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook (Meta) or LinkedIn.
- By entering this competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions of entry. If your entry does not comply with these terms and conditions, it will not be valid and will not be accepted.
- Entry is restricted to Wyndham residents aged 18 years and over. Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
- The competition opens at 8:00am on 6 March 2026 and closes at 9:00am on 16 March 2026 (‘competition period’). Entries received outside of the competition period will not be accepted.
- To enter the competition, during the competition period, you must:
- ‘like’ the Visit Werribee and Surrounds Facebook or Instagram page and tag a friend in the comments on the competition post.
- Only one entry per person per social media platform will be accepted. Entrants acknowledge and agree that if they submit an entry via this platform, they will only be eligible for a maximum of one prize in the entire competition.
- Competition winners will be drawn at 12:00pm on 16 March 2026 by Council officers. Three winners will be drawn from all valid entries submitted via Facebook and two winners from Instagram. There will be Five winners in total who will each receive two general admission tickets to Dressage and Jumping with the Stars, to be held at National Equestrian Centre (170 K Road, Werribee South) from the 19 March 2026 – 21 March 2026. Tickets can only be used once to attend the event on either Thursday 19 March 2026, Friday 20 March 2026 or Saturday 21 March. Each ticket is valued at $10, and the total prize pool is valued at $100.
- Winners will be contacted by Facebook or Instagram and will subsequently be announced on the Visit Werribee and Surrounds Facebook and Instagram pages. Winners consent to the publication of their names for the purpose of announcing the competition winners.
- If a winner cannot be contacted by 5:00pm on 17 March 2026, Council may opt to conduct a further draw to determine a new winner.
- If a prize has not been claimed by 5:00pm on 18 March2026, the winner will be deemed to have surrendered the prize, and Council may opt to conduct a further draw to award the unclaimed prize.
- Council may require a winner to provide evidence or their identity or that they live in Wyndham. If there is a dispute as to the identity or residential address of a winner, Council reserves the right, in its entire discretion, to determine the identity or address of a winner.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt entries.
- If for any reason, this competition cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
- Council reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
- Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Privacy Statement
Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council to administer and enable you to enter the Dressage and Jumping with the Stars 2026 Competition. Your information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council and for delivery of services and information.
