High Tea in Werribee Park

Fluffy scones, picture-perfect pastries and Mansion views.

Take a delightful little detour from the hustle and bustle of the city, and you’ll find the perfect spot for High Tea in the lush surrounds of Werribee Park.

From the grandeur of the Werribee Park Mansion itself to those rolling green lawns and beautiful gardens – it’s a place that feels made for indulgent afternoons of tea and scones, perfect pastries and a long, tall glass of something delicious.

Lancemore Mansion Hotel’s High Tea has become something of an institution. High tea is served in Joseph's Dining overlooking the gardens every Saturday (12:30pm) and Sunday (12.30pm and 3pm). Bookings are essential with sittings at $85 per person (children $55) including free flowing Dal Zotto Prosecco for adults.

Joseph’s Dining also offer all-day Devonshire Tea ($35) from their Lounge Menu, featuring scones with jam and cream and an assortment of beautiful cakes

The Refectory Parlour’s Heritage High Tea Hampers ($130 for two people) can be pre-booked and enjoyed out in the grounds with a delightful package of dainty finger sandwiches, pastries, fresh scones and sweet treats alongside barista coffee, a pot of tea or homemade lemonade. For seated terrace dining options, chat to the team when making your booking on 03 9731 7101.

The Refectory Parlour’s terrace dining area beneath the arches of the Mansion is a stunning spot to while away the afternoon over a cheese plate and a jug of Pimms and Lemonade or Aperol Spritz. Open Wednesday – Sunday, 10.30am – 4pm.

Further afield, The Social Sutra in Werribee City Centre offers Bottomless Brunch each weekend ($35 with any main meal purchased) with bookings via 03 9741 4572 while Corked Wine Bar is also a great spot to spend an afternoon enjoying their delicious Spritz menu.
