Werribee’s Best Beer Gardens

Enjoy those long summer days at these top spots in Werribee and Surrounds.

The Park
The Park Werribee’s large outdoor space overlooks Station Place, with the leafy plane trees and twinkling fairy lights adding to the magic of this family-friendly favourite. There are large picnic tables and umbrellas with outdoor heaters popping up during the winter months. Paired with The Park Werribee’s incredible craft beer list (more than 30 taps on offer) and regular live music and DJ sets, there’s no better way to spend the afternoon.

Teddy Picker
Cocktails, great pizza and riverside views. Teddy Picker is great at anytime of year, but its sorbet-bright outdoor dining area really comes into its own during the summer months. The space includes its own bar, with astro turf, picnic tables, intimate booths and brightly coloured umbrellas to create a little slice of summer paradise.

Bridge Hotel Werribee
This buzzy outdoor beer garden at Bridge Hotel Werribee is located at the front of the beautiful art deco building, which makes for excellent people watching. There’s plenty of space in this relaxed outdoor dining area, with large picnic tables, umbrellas and twinkling lights. The food is excellent and they host regular live music on Sundays.

HopHeads Point Cook
Serious about craft beer? Look no further than Hopheads Point Cook. This bar and bottle store is where you’ll find the absolute best Australian and International beers. While there are just a few outdoor tables available (rather than a full beer garden), it’s a great spot to spend the afternoon, trying the latest on tap and quizzing the team for recommendations. You can even bring your own takeaway dinner to enjoy. Table bookings recommended.

Corked Wine Bar
While your first impression of Corked Wine Bar is likely to be one of cosiness, with its plush couches and fireplace, the bar also extends outside with a beautiful outdoor terrace that overlooks Werribee River. Pull up a stool under the umbrellas at the custom-made ‘barrel tables’ and work your way through their exceptional wine list or come summer, indulge with a Limoncello or Pink Gin Spritz.

Boulevard 3030
Constructed from shipping containers, this relaxed harbour hotspot features a large outdoor dining area with uninterrupted views across Port Phillip Bay to the city skyline. There are large shade sails and umbrellas, along with cosy fire pits in winter. Dogs are welcome and with mini golf right next door at The Elements Coastal Activity Park, its also an excellent spot for families.
