Get hands on at Werribee Open Range Zoo
Make the most of the warmer weather with Nature Play at Werribee Open Range Zoo. Each day activities will run between 11am – 2pm, with the nature play zone at River Walk open from 10am to 4pm daily. The littlies will love getting hands on with sand play areas, nature weaving, mandalas and pebble art workshops. Zoo admission is free for children under 16 during the school holidays.
Tee off at The Elements Coastal Activity Park
Ditch screen time for sea time, at Wyndham Harbour’s new activity precinct! Grab a coffee, enjoy those bayside views and tackle the mini golf course – embracing the natural surrounds of earth, sky and sea. There’s no need to book ahead – drop in anytime from 7am to sunset, with tickets from just $10.
Enjoy free family fun with Western United Football Club
Enjoy a free, family day out at the Western United FC Family Day on Sunday 18 September, 12pm – 3pm in Wyndham Park, Werribee. Meet the players from the A-League Men 21/22 Championship and members of their new A-League Women squad, see the Championship Trophy and enjoy free football activities for the kids, face painting, food, entertainment and more.
Join Tinkerbell on an adventure to Bubble Land
Take the kids on a magical music adventure at Wyndham Cultural Centre with Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies Adventure to Bubble Land presented by The Australian Shakespeare Company. This enchanting performance is perfect for children under 7, with all tickets just $10. There will be two sessions on Friday 30 September, 10.30am and 2pm – bookings essential.
Discover a new playground
Have you been to the Crocodile Park in Point Cook? What about Wyndham Park, Dinosaur Park or the animal-inspired Safari Park Cornerstone? Explore some new territory and make a day out of it with brunch, lunch or ice cream treat.
Get your dance on with The Australian Ballet
Wyndham Cultural Centre will be hosting workshops with The Australian Ballet's Education and Outreach team to create a new dance work in 4 days! Workshops will be held from 19 – 21 September, for ages 9 – 12 and ages 13 – 18 years and open to all levels and abilities. Workshop participants will get to perform as part of The Story of Pomi and Gobba performance on 22 September.
To complement the program Werribee Library will be hosting free dancing story workshops for ages 3 -5 and 5 – 7 with The Australian Ballet's Education and Outreach team on 20 – 21 September – bookings essential.
Go on a bike ride

Entertaining teens? Try a Have a Go Clay Target Shooting experience with Go Shooting with coaching from expert trainers (including Olympians Russell and Lauryn Mark). Sessions for ages 12 - 17 are available on Saturday 24 September and Saturday 1 October

Take a tour of Werribee Park Mansion, explore the gardens and pre-book picnic treats to enjoy from The Refectory Parlour, who will also be offering a school holiday special – hot chocolate and kids scone for $6.50.
