Point Cook Coastal Park Beach Walk

1/4

Enter Point Cook Coastal Park using Side Entrance Road, following it all the way to the Car Park just behind the beach.

Follow the path through the picnic and playground area to reach the foreshore.

At low tide you can turn left and wander along the foreshore to the eastern end of the park to reach the point of Point Cook (to the right you can walk as far as the RAAF boundary).

The beach is natural and ungroomed, with plenty of shell and seaweed spotting for the kids along the way.

It also forms part of the Point Cooke Marine Sanctuary – the biggest in Victoria with its narrow beaches, rocky reefs and mudflats home to a huge diversity of marine and coastal life.

When the weather’s clear, you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views of the city skyline and spot ships entering the bay.

Return the same way along the beach back to the Car Park.
