Where to Eat and Drink

LIT is located in Wyndham Park, an easy stroll from Werribee’s own ‘Eat Street’, Watton Street.

Along the street you’ll find plenty of grab and go options, including these LIT dining specials, with restaurant bookings recommended!

Dinner for two? Try secret wine bar Corked, Casa Cantina, Rosana Bistro + Bar, Mama Lor Restaurant & Bakery or Tocca for Italian elegance.

For a buzzing night out with family and friends, it’s hard to beat The Bridge Werribee, Teddy Pickers, Hecho En Mexico, Village Cantina and The Park Werribee.

For something sweet to finish head to Baby Js, Augustus Gelatery or Koromi Lokma.

Pair your LIT visit with must-do Melbourne Food and Wine Festival events in Werribee – bookings essential.

Picnic at Werribee Park Mansion
Enjoy the stunning grounds of Werribee Park Mansion (open daily including public holidays) and stroll across to the Victoria State Rose Garden to enjoy the roses while they’re still in bloom.

Go on Safari
Go on an African safari at Werribee Open Range Zoo! The Safari Bus (included in entry) is a must and is as much for adults as it is for kids.

Tour the Coast
Make the most of the warmer weather, with mini golf and waterfront dining at Wyndham Harbour, to take a stroll through Cheetham Wetlands or Werribee South Foreshore.

Visit a Market
Pick up fresh produce and goodies at the monthly That’s Mine Farmers Market on Sunday 17 March at Werribee Racecourse or the Wyndham Harbour Craft Market on Sunday 24 March.

Stay up late at Studio 185
From Thursday to Saturday night, Studio 185 is filled with music lovers and partygoers with a rotating line up oof cutting edge house music, RnB dance parties, live bands and tributes.

Marvel at Mooroop Yarkeen
Take in the incredible new Indigenous mural, Mooroop Yarkeen (Spirit Dreaming) by Indigenous artist Tommy Day / Jirri Jirri. At 41 metres high, this First Nations mural is one of the largest in Australia.
