Cool off at Werribee South Beach
Yes, Werribee has a beach! Along Werribee South Foreshore you’ll also find two playgrounds, a lovely coastal walk and boat ramp (also a great kayak launching spot). Live Saving Victoria will be patrolling the beach from 17 December – 5 February. Water conditions in the Bay can be impacted by flooding, so if conditions aren’t in your favour, check out these water play playgrounds.

Go to the zoo!
As if you needed further incentive, during the school holidays kids under 16 receive free entry to
Werribee Open Range Zoo. The Safari Bus (included in entry) is a must, but if you’re looking to upgrade –  book a Sunset Safari (Saturdays until 25 February) with extended Safari Tour, cocktails, performances and a traditional African Braai barbeque. Note pre-booked tickets are required.
